Haul Bikes – The Motorcycle Shipping & Transportation Pros

Motorcycle Shipping & Transport

Haul Bikes has been in business since 1994. Today, their service is trusted by manufacturers, dealers, enthusiasts and collectors. They ship more than 50,000 bikes per year, and their shipping system is designed to protect the bike throughout the entire transport process.

Daily Direct Motorcycle Shipping Services from Haul Bikes

Haul Bikes is a dedicated motorcycle transport service and one of the leading motorcycle shipping companies. They only transport motorcycles, so no shipments are mixed with other items or types of vehicles.

With Haul Bikes, bikes are never crated or palletized. They are delivered with batteries and fluids intact. Those who use their service don’t have to worry about draining the bike’s fluids or disconnecting the battery before pickup.

Additionally, Haul Bikes:

  • Has trailers that are completely enclosed to protect the bike from the elements.
  • Secures each individual motorcycle using a special strapping system.
  • Includes $15,000 of insurance for each shipment, with a $500 deductible.

The company’s enclosed trailers are equipped with a ramp system or a lift gate for easy loading and unloading. As a result, there’s no need to have a forklift or a loading dock when picking up or delivering the load.

Haul Bikes requires pickup and delivery locations to be legal and safely accessible by their 80-foot tractor trailer.

The company has terminals in the following locations:

  • Milwaukee, WI
  • Oklahoma City, OK
  • Las Vegas, NV
  • York, PA

Drivers regularly run routes to the East and West coasts with stops in between.

How the Delivery Process Works

Haul Bikes remains in constant communication with customers throughout the entire shipping process, which looks something like this:

  • Receive a quote and sign a contract.
  • Receive an estimated pick-up and delivery schedule.
  • The Haul Bikes driver will get in touch with the pick-up person the day prior to the pick-up.
  • The bike is picked up.
  • The driver calls the day prior to delivery.
  • The bike is hand-delivered, ready to ride.

Haul Bikes services the contiguous 48 states, and their rates are based on the mileage from the pick-up point to the delivery location.

Discounts are available for rallies, round trips, military personnel, dealers and groups.

Average Delivery Time

Delivery times will vary based on a number of factors, including the distance between the pickup and delivery locations.

The total transit time is typically 21-28 business days from the time of the booking. Typically, northwestern states will have a longer transit time. For locations in ID, OR, WA, MT, UT, WY and CA, the transit time will be 26-35 days.

To make their services affordable, the company pools as many motorcycles as safely as possible on a truck during their cross-country runs. For this reason, the shipping and delivery process can take up to a month.
